i have added photos from yesterdays ski-muster at mt wachusett in princeton ma, as well as photos from a second alarm in lexington ma, what we took in on the way home from the ski-muster.

thanks to dave stewart and rob reardon for their photos from the muster. i will have some "helmet cam" footage from the muster up later today.

i have been sent quite a few submitted photos over the past week or two that i haven't gotten a chance to put up. i plan to add them tonight or tomorrow morning. they include the fatal crane collapse in boston, a second alarm in brookline ma today and some other incidents.

i just got a new blackberry last week... if you have a blackberry, send me your pin for the blackberry chat messenger app. also looking for good free apps to download. if you are looking for free ringtones check out www.myxer.com. if you search from your phone you can download the songs directly. some of the songs cost money, but most of them are free. a couple fdny and squad-51 ringtones on there... worth checking out.

finally, i didn't mention earlier that photos were added from this extrememly cold ice dive drill that i shot the day before i left for fdny. the temp was in the single digits and these guys were in the water, diving under the foot thick ice. some interesting photos... check those out. stay safe k.

i have posted all of my photos from the fdny trip this past weekend. i took around 500 photos through out the three day tour. the best job we took in was the last one in the bronx. the fire was in a storage unit up on an elevated train platform. a pretty weird fire! check out the photos!

day two in the big apple...

its 2000 hours in the big apple and it has seemed to have slowed down a bit. i'm currently in manhattan at the hotel. we're headed out in a minute to possibly the bronx.

this photo is from my cell phone at a 10-75 this morning in queens. fire was in an occupied dwelling. knocked down in about 12 minutes. we also just got some shots from a triple homicide which occured a block away from the hotel on w 93rd street. the shooting was inside the apartment, not much to see.

...in fdny

so right as we arrived in nyc we took in an all hands manhole fire in the bronx. the fire was at e180 st at honeywell avenue. box 75-3138. i would have some pics up but i forgot my card reader.

and half way though this post we took in queens box 75-6081 for 129 street at 97th avenue for a fire in a dwelling with a jumper down.

so far so good... i'm going to get a card reader tomorrow to get some of the shots up.

welcome to february.

a nice warm day for the first day of the month! i almost have all the ice of my driveway... ugh. getting excited for the new york city trip this weekend. i have gotten a bunch of tips of places to check out and people to talk to... its shaping up to be a good time.

last night was the ne fools fire buff night. they had some great photos and videos in the show. a great time at the bar too! i think myers was on to something with a south shore fire buff night...
