incidents added.

i have added a bunch of photos from a few different incidents so far this weekend. yesterday i shot a large animal rescue drill in marshfield. i then shot a fall victim who was medflighted in east bridgewater. i just got back from a rollover, with the car on its side, in east bridgewater. all the photos have been added. enjoy the rest of your weekend!

this is the bike that whitman firefighters local #1769 will be raffling off. it is a custom shadley brothers mc. i don't have all the specs, but i will get them and post them when i do. tickets are printed, they just need to be handed out. they will be $100 and limited to 400. the bike is valued at $25,000. more info coming soon!

fourth alarm in middleboro.

i have added my photos from monday's four alarm church fire in middleboro ma. i arrived 2-3 hours into the fire and only got some overhaul and candid shots. for some actual fire shots, check out the submitted gallery, www.massfirepics.com and www.car105firephotos.com.

i have added photos from a third alarm in yonkers ny last night. we were met with heavy traffic all around nyc and the surrounding towns, so it was no surprise that we had around a 60 minute eta to this job. the fire was well knocked down when we arrived, but i added some shots anyways.

i added to fdny ladder companies to the ladders gallery, tower ladder 155 and ladder 126, both from queens. also added are some submitted photos courtesy of dave stewart and stephen walsh.

two multiple alarms this weekend. (so far)

at 0110 hours on saturday morning, whitman worked at a fatal second alarm at 15 newland drive. i didn't grab any pics, as i was working that shift. fire was contained to one room. one occupant was killed in the fire.
last night, sometime around 0330 hours abington worked at a third alarm for 707 bedford street. fire was in an apartment building. numerous people were treated for smoke inhalation. from what i understand the fire was contained to one apartment. i didn't make this job because i apparently was sleeping very soundly!
currently, the city of cambridge is working a third alarm at the church of latter day saints on longfellow park.

second alarm in brockton ma.

after another busy day, i've finally added photos from brockton's second alarm last night. the job, opposite 42 walnut street, came in just before midnight. the heavy fire was knocked down quickly, but crews stayed on-scene with extensive overhaul operations.

i'll be doing a slide show presentation for the boston sparks association tonight around 8pm. any members should come and enjoy. the meeting starts at 8pm, k.

the show is "fire's of the south shore, 2004-2009". lots of multiple alarms and such from the past few years.
